I count myself as incredibly lucky to get to take my parents all the way from Australia to Europe. My parents are 77 and 82 years old and it’s their first trip to Europe. Despite their age and the challenges involved with travelling with them, it has been a lot of fun. Even though I have seen most of these cities before, it has been fun seeing how excited they are to see these places. We have also gotten to do something that I have always wanted to do, and that is travel around Europe on trains.
Today is our last day in Europe. We have ended with a nice tour around Paris in a little old Citroen 2CV. I must post a pic of it here. It’s so cute. We have covered 8 cities in 5 countries in 3 weeks. My parents have done so well to keep up the pace. And tomorrow we begin the long long trip home.
